BOOK FRONT COVER

THE BOOK:

It is about the fine work of mexican impressionist Painter Guillermo Gomez Mayorga (1890 - 1962). It has 180 excellent photographs of 163 of his paintings. 77 of them are marines (Acapulco, Veracruz, Campeche and Pacific cliffs); landscapes (Mexico City, Taxco, Xochimilco, Popocatepetl volcano) with some details, 28 vases of flowers and a self-portrait.

Gomez Mayorga was born in Puebla, Mexico, and started to paint in 1910, at the very start of the mexican revolution. He studied in San Carlos Fine Arts School and painted nearly 1,000 oil canvases.

The printing and paper are of the best quality available. This hard cover book is written in Spanish.

A few hundred art lovers, long insured in Mexico by La Latinoamericana, Seguros, have already emptied the courtesy stock ordered by our sponsor.

However, there are still a few hundred books issued for the general public. They can be bought through the internet (Amazon, Barnes&Noble) and may also be found in some local art bookstores like Sanborns in Mexico.

You must not miss the Guillermo Gomez Mayorga book who will, no doubt, be soon considered among the universal masters of art. An english supplement will shortly become available in the internet, and later it will be printed at discount price for any one presenting proof of purchase where they acquired the book.

If you own any of the pictures painted by Guillermo Gomez Mayorga, or you know of anybody who owns any of his work, let us know about it right now in our e-mail. We will be very glad to consider it for the next edition of this excellent art book.
